Brett Alexander Tully

The family and friends of Brett Alexander Tully are deeply saddened by his unexpected passing on February 23, 2018.  Brett’s contagious smile and personality lit up the room and drew everyone in; you couldn’t help but love being in his presence.  He was a son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and dear friend to so many and will be missed by all.

Brett was born on May 17, 1993 in Lowell, Massachusetts to David and Alyce (Teague) Tully of Dunstable, MA.  Brett graduated from Groton-Dunstable Regional High School in 2011, and during his time there he enjoyed working with students with disabilities who were part of the PAVE program.  He worked for New England Infrastructure as a Heavy Equipment Operator until the time of his passing.

Brett had a zest for life and could always be found taking part in one of his many hobbies.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dirt bike and ATVs; he loved snowboarding, skateboarding, and snowmobiling.  Brett also enjoyed different types of music and attending concerts and music festivals with his friends.  He had the best dance moves and was known for giving big hugs, especially to his nephew Colt, who he loved holding and playing with.  Brett had a huge heart and always let his family and friends know how much he loved them.

In addition to his parents, Brett is survived by his brother David Tully III and his wife Linda and son Colt of Derry, NH; brother Matthew Tully and sister Kirsten Tully of Dunstable, MA;  grandparents David and Mabel Tully of Dunstable, MA; grandparents Jack and Louise Teague of Westford, MA; aunts and uncles Debra (Tully) and Richard Madden, Sandra (Tully) and Daniel Devlin, Brenda (Tully) and Kelly Richardson, and James and Stephanie Tully all of Dunstable; John Teague of Westford, MA and Anthony Mignacca of Littleton, MA.  He is also survived by his cousins Derek Madden, Molly and Jacqueline Richardson, Jack and Morgan Tully, and Aidan and Gavin Devlin all of Dunstable; Rachel and Mark Mignacca of Littleton, MA and Alan Joseph (Ajay) Teague of Westford, MA.  He is also survived by many close family friends who were lucky enough to consider Brett a part of their family.  Brett was predeceased by his Aunt, Kathleen (Teague) Mignacca.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday,  February 28, 4-7 PM at the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113)  Pepperell, MA. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 1, at 11 AM at the Central Cemetery, Dunstable, MA.
