Anne Therese DuPont

Anne T. DuPont (King) of Pepperell, MA, beloved wife of 63 years of Robert E. DuPont. She was the sister of the late Patrick J. King of Boston, MA and Washington, D.C.

She was a graduate of St. Columbkille High School, class of 1950. She received her B.A. Degree, cum laude, from Calvin Coolidge College in 1954. She received her teaching certificate from Boston State College.

She loved music and attended the New England Conservatory of Music and the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, where she studied piano privately.

She worked at Dunn & Bradstreet in Boston in the Reporting Department and also as a secretary in the Catalog Department of Widener Library at Harvard University.

An avid reader, she was a member of the Friends of the Lawrence Library in Pepperell. She was a member of the VOTF in Chelmsford, MA. She was a member of the choir at Our Lady of Grace Parish as well as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.

She will be missed by many cherished friends; Grace and Jim Williams, Linda and Henry Choznowski, Marine Laverdure and family, Mrs. Pate Shupe, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Dube and many dear cousins; Jan Cinganelli of Somerville and the Sheehan cousins of Somerville, Burlington, and Wilmington, MA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in the DuPont family and King family.

She is survived by her children Mark DuPont and his wife Mariann of Florida, her son Gregory Peter of Nashua and a daughter Yvonne Gobis and husband Joseph of Salem, NH. She is also survived by grandchildren Brandon, Merrick, Morgan, and Juliana. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Blake and Bailey DuPont.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, on Thursday, March 15th. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Parish, worshipping at St. Joseph's Church, 28 Tarbell St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Research Department of the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association Research Department, or your own favorite charity.
