Barbara's children were her pride and joy. She devoted her life to caring for them, before returning to work in 1984 for New England Business as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. She retired in 2006.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved so very much, yearly vacations at the beach with her family, reading on her Kindle, and ordering from her favorite On-Line shopping network-QVC.  Barbara was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
