Pat is predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Carl L. Porter, her parents, John and Lillian (Sweet) Jones, and siblings William Jones, Joseph Jones, Eilleen (Jones) (Duffy) Simmons, and Kathleen (Jones) Gerlach, and her son-in-law, Thomas Malley.

Pat is survived by her brother Stephen (Skip) Jones of Lakeland, Florida, daughter Jean (Porter) Malley of Hudson, New Hampshire, daughter Donna (Porter) and her husband Brian Peterman of New Boston, New Hampshire, son David Porter and his wife Elizabeth of Hollis, New Hampshire, and daughter Gail Porter and her husband Ed van der Veen of Hudson, New Hampshire. Pat’s husband had a dream of running a small country store. Following that dream, Pat and Carl moved from Pepperell, Massachusetts to Porter, Maine where they owned and operated Porter’s Corner Store from 1975 until Carl’s death in 1997. After the loss of her husband, Pat sold the store and moved to New Hampshire to be close to her children. She resided in Nashua and worked at Rivier College from 1997 until retirement. Pat was a devout Catholic, an avid reader, liked to travel, enjoyed knitting, playing Solitaire, watching birds, walking her dog Griffin, and playing Scrabble every Thursday night with Jean and David. Now she rests in that heavenly garden where her love has been waiting.
