David J. Fitzgerald

David J. Fitzgerald passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018, after a long illness. He spent the majority of his life in Endwell, NY and the last three years in Pepperell, MA.

David loved working with people over the years  in real estate, mortgage banking, as owner of his kitchen design business, and as a manager at TJ Maxx.   He was a car aficionado and could identify every car – year, make and model  - at a very young edge.   David enjoyed several dogs and cats over the years, including two rescues.

Most of all, David deeply loved his family.  He was a great son, and friend to his mother;  he took great pride in his nephews.  A kind, caring and gentle man, David always thought the best of everyone.  We’ll miss his bright smile, humor, perseverance and heart.

David was predeceased by his parents, Frank J. and Janice W. Fitzgerald. He is survived by his sister, Susan Yost, husband Clay, and nephews Luke and Shane, all of Pepperell, as well as several aunts and cousins.

A funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Grace, 28 Tarbell St, Pepperell, MA, Thursday, August 10 at 2 PM. Expressions of sympathy in memory of David may be made to an animal rescue of your choice.   Arrangements are by the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St, Pepperell, MA.
