James M. “Jamie” Clark of Leominster and Shirley died Sunday, November 19th, 2017 after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born in Lowell on November 28th, 1970.

Jamie spent his early life in the Ayer and Shirley area, where he attended the local schools. He began working at a young age and was an employee at Tiny’s Restaurant of Ayer, and the Piccolino Club in Shirley.  In his later years, he was employed with the Town of Shirley Water District. He also served as the Facilities Director for the Ayer-Shirley School District, in addition to being an on-call firefighter for the town of Shirley.

Jamie was a friendly and outgoing soul, as well as a passionate New England Sports fan. He was a longtime season ticket holder for his beloved New England Patriots, and especially enjoyed following the Boston Bruins.

Jamie is survived by his mother Mary Lou (Pouliot) Clark of Shirley, sisters Meghan Clark Guthrie and her husband J.C. of Shirley, Mariel Clark and husband Carl Muscari of Nashua, NH, Heidi Clark and her wife Marj Masse of Ogunquit, ME, Lisa Cornellier and her husband Andy of Tyngsboro, brother Loran Forsyth of Oregon, and nieces and nephews Anneliese, Molly, Brianna, Casey, Abigail and Harleigh.

Relatives and friends will be received 4-7 PM Saturday,  November 25, 2017, at the McGAFFIGAN Funeral Home 37 Main St. (RTE 113) Pepperell. A Celebration of Jamie’s life will be held Sunday, November 26, at 4 PM at The Shirley American Legion, 8 Church St. Shirley, MA.
