Micheal “Mike” W. Rolfe, 68, of Pepperell, Massachusetts passed away on Thursday, June 24th at Massachusetts General Hospital following a heart attack. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Mike was born in Dover, New Hampshire on March 2nd 1953. He attended Dover High School and later graduated from Concord Vocational Technical School with a degree in electrical technology. He was married to Roseann M. Rolfe (née Chamberlain) on August 28th 1982. The two enjoyed nearly 39 years of joyful marriage.
Mike was very involved in scouting -- earning the rank of Eagle Scout and taking a leadership role in later years. This experience translated into twelve years of service in the Army National Guard until his honorable discharge and joining the security field. He enjoyed spending time with his family and serving his church, Grace Lutheran Church, in various capacities. He was an early member of the church back in 1988 and played a role in establishing its existing location in Nashua, New Hampshire. His passion for his Lord and Savior shone brightly in the work he did within the church’s music and youth ministries.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Roseann Rolfe (née Chamberlain) of Pepperell, MA, his daughter Stacey Rolfe of Pepperell, MA, his daughter April Fanning (née Rolfe) and her husband Kevin both of Pelham, NH, grandchildren Isaiah Rolfe, Liberty and Micah Muschette of Pepperell, MA, sister Nancy Richmond (née Rolfe) of Charlestown, NH, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is predeceased by his mother Marjorie R. Rolfe (née Stacy) and father George W. Rolfe, and his nephew Barry Richmond.
A service will be held in his memory at Grace Lutheran Church in Nashua, NH. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the church in his name. Donations will be directed to the ministries he held so dearly.
