It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Alyssa Marie Tetreault, who left this world far too soon at the age of 27 on May 3rd, 2025, the victim of an automobile accident. Born in Worcester on February 12, 1998, she resided in Pepperell, Massachusetts, and filled her all-too-brief life with an abundance of love that touched everyone she encountered.
Alyssa lived a life defined by love. It was the very essence of her being, radiating from her warm smile and the kindness in her eyes. She loved fiercely and unconditionally – her family, her friends, and even perfect strangers were met with her open heart. Her capacity for empathy was immense, and she had a unique gift for making those around her feel seen, valued, and cherished.
Beyond her loving spirit, Alyssa was passionate about music, attending many concerts and shows. Her favorite artist was independent rapper Tech N9ne and she considered herself a die-hard technician in life and in death. She loved the solitude of nature and could often be found at Heald Street Apple Orchard. She approached life with enthusiasm and a genuine zest for connection.
She leaves behind her heartbroken daughters, Leah and Laiyla, mother, Michelle Tetreault and her partner Bruce Secovich, eldest brother David Lique and his partner Courtney Ceresale, twin sister Kayla Tetreault and her partner Jake Bard, youngest brother Anthony Tetreault, Grandparents Russell and Sharon Tetreault and John and Joanne Lynch, niece Mia and nephew Drizzt. She was predeceased by her father Russell Tetreault, niece Ava Proulx and her grandparents Paul and Jerry Ann Lique. Alyssa also leaves behind best friend Chantelle Morin as well as her estranged husband and friend Andrew Martin and her partner Joseph Hamilton as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The void she leaves in our lives is immeasurable.
Though her time with us was far too short, the legacy of love she built will endure. Her kindness will continue to ripple outwards through the many lives she touched.
Visiting hours will be held at McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113), Pepperell, MA on Thursday, May 15th from the hours of 4:00 – 7:00 PM. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend. A private service for her family will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
The family kindly requests that any donations be to the GoFundMe account for her daughter Laiyla Rayne: https://gofund.me/f2f0fd14
Rest in peace, our sweet Lyss. Your love will forever be etched in our hearts.
