Antoinette J. "Toni" (Gruzewski) DubAC., 95, died peacefully at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester, MA on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, 2014. She was surrounded by her family during her brief illness and at the time of her death.

She was born in McKees Rocks, PA on Christmas Day 1918 (a birthday she shared with her husband and son), the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Groch) Gruzewski. After graduating from McKees Rocks High School in 1937 and Grace Martin's School in 1938, she moved to Washington, DC where she met her husband NoA�l days before he shipped out for Europe during WWII. They were married on September 17, 1945, and settled in Salmon Falls (Rollinsford), NH where they raised a family of 10 children. After her husband took the job as Commissary Officer at Fort Devens, MA, they relocated to Pepperell, MA where they remained. She worked in the payroll office at Fort Devens for several years, retiring in 1984.

As a deeply devout Roman Catholic, Mrs. DubAC.'s life revolved around her love for God, the Blessed Virgin Mary and her family. She supported her husband in the building of the Shrine to Our Lady of Fatima in their yard and enjoyed serving the guests at the many gatherings and prayer meetings held in her home.

Although her husband was of French Canadian decent, she was very proud of her own Polish heritage. It gave her great pleasure to listen to polka music, speak Polish with friends, or attend Mass in a Polish parish.

Mrs. DubAC. is survived by two daughters: Maryanna (DubAC.) Hiester and her husband Edwin of Pepperell, MA and Florida (DubAC.) Cole and her husband Richard of California. Seven sons: Paul V. of Phoenix, AZ, John G. and his wife Jennifer of Barrington, NH, Gerard E. of Naples, FL and Boston, MA, Christopher J. and his wife Andrea of Keene, NH, Anthony N. and his wife Concetta of Litchfield, NH, Vincent E.J. and his wife Nora of Saugus, MA and Alfred F. and his wife Elizabeth of Holliston, MA. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her husband NoA�l Albert DubAC. in 2010, her son NoA�l Alfred DubAC. in 1970, her granddaughter Allyson Hiester in 1988, her great-granddaughter Martine Gagne in 2013, and her brothers Alfred in 1962, Casimir in 1997, and Benedict in 2005.

Visiting hours at the Hamilton-McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte 113) Pepperell, MA will be Thursday, June 12 from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 13 at 11AM.at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. Joseph's Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Church in Rollinsford, NH on Saturday, June 14 at 11AM, followed by burial in the family plot at New Town Cemetery in Rollinsford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses be offered for the repose of the soul of Mrs. DubAC. or a donation may be made to St. Benedict Abbey, 252 Still River Road, P.O. Box 67, Still River MA 01467.
