Barbara Giguere

Barbara Giguere died June 22, 2014, at age 73. She was the beloved wife and soul mate of M. Gary Giguere for over 41 years. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 3, 1940, and graduated from St. Angus Cathedral High School in Rockville Centre, NY. She worked in the medical field for 15 years, was a former EMT, and was an active real estate agent for 15 years having co-owned her own office, Carriage House Real Estate in Pepperell for a number of years. Barbara was a past treasurer of the Bolton Woman's Club, an active member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality of Sacred Heart Parish in Groton, and active in Scouting as a Girl Scout and Brownie leader and a den-mother. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Pepperell. She especially loved traveling, cooking and spending summers at their residence in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Besides her husband, she leaves six children; Skip Jankoski of California, Nancy Jewers and her husband Al of Pepperell, Patti Koeller and her husband Steve of Pepperell, Don Jankoski of California, Kevin Jankoski and his wife Debbie of Kentucky and Heather Giguere of Fitchburg. She also leaves two stepchildren, Eloise Adams and Billy Giguere of Pepperell, 15 Grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved parents Donald and Lillian Lucas of Groton, her sister Peggy Hoffner of North Carolina, and a beloved granddaughter Katie Blood. She will be incredibly missed by all who loved her.
