Carmen G. (Martin) LaBree

Carmen G. (Martin) LaBree, 70, of Leominster, passed away on June 7, 2023, after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family.  She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, John E. LaBree, her parents, Gerard J. Martin, and Jeannette L. (David) Martin, her sister Nicole Conforti of Titusville, FL and her brother Roland Martin of Fitchburg, MA. She leaves behind her daughters, Patricia A. Obert and her husband Christopher of Fitchburg, MA and Pamela M. Waterman and her husband Kevin of Athol, MA; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her six sisters, Lise McKay of Akron, NY, Diane Orne of Leominster, MA, Cecile Martineau of Salisbury, NC, Lillian Wood of Rutland, MA, Marie Mello of Leominster, MA and Elaine Martin of Westminster, MA; her three brothers, Lawrence Martin of Jefferson MA, David Martin of Ashburnham, MA, and Daniel Martin of Rindge, NH; along with many nieces and nephews.

Carmen was born in Roxton Falls, Quebec Canada and moved to the United States at the age of three, living in Vermont before settling in Massachusetts. She lived a very modest life, her bond with her family was her most valued treasure. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and viewing the wildlife.


Graveside services will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 70-78 S. Barre Rd., Barre, MA on Tuesday, June 20th at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the UMass Memorial Health Alliance Hospital Home Health & Hospice, 60 Hospital Rd., Leominster, MA 01453 ( www.hahhh.org )
