Cherylle Ann Bowman

Cherylle Ann (Long) Bowman, age 76, of Littleton, formerly of Ayer, passed away at Tufts Medical Center on March 10, 2024, following a long illness.

Cherylle was born in Ayer on October 8, 1947, a daughter of the late Nicholas Leon and Hope Elaine (Hallett) Long. Raised in Ayer, she graduated from Ayer High School, Class of 1965 and spent the majority of her life in town before living in Littleton for the last 22 years.

Cherylle worked for Angel Cabinets, Heritage Cabinets, the former Nashoba Community Hospital, for over 17 years, and South Bay Mental Health.

Mrs. Bowman was a longtime member of the Federated Church of Ayer and served on the Board of Directors for Woodlawn Cemetery in Ayer from 1991 – 2022.  She enjoyed reading and crocheting, but most of all, family was the most important thing in her life.

Cherylle is survived by her son, Jeremy Bowman of Littleton; daughter Cherylle A. Long of Bethel, Maine; son-in-law and family friend Scott Harlow; great-granddaughter Hope Long; and brother, David P. Long of Leominster. She was predeceased by her sister, Karen E. Milroy.

Cherylle’s Memorial Service will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Saturday, March 23^rd at 10 am.
