Donald E. Drew

Donald E. Drew, age 76, passed away March 4, 2014, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Donald was born in Dunstable, MA, on February 16, 1938, son of the late Howard R. and Lillian M. (Patterson) Drew.
He was predeceased by three brothers Howard (Junie), Robert and Gary.
Donny is survived by his sister Paula Drew of Pepperell, MA, his two brothers David Drew of Pepperell, MA, and Bruce Drew of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by many cousins as well as two Aunts, Phyliss Rootovich of Dunstable, MA, and Doris Mitchell of Leominster, MA.
He was a loving Uncle to eighteen nieces and nephews spanning from three generations.
Donald had many special friends throughout the area. Everywhere he went he knew somebody.
Donny was a veteran of the U.S. Army, honorably serving as a carpenter and marksman from 1961-1963. He belonged to the Local 49 Carpenters Union for over 20 years and the Tyngsborough American Legion Post #247.
Donald enjoyed Newfound Lake, stock car races, restoring antique trucks and any and all things related to carpentry, masonry, roofing, framing and finish work were just a few of his talents he possessed. Donny was known for actually being able to fix just about anything, when in doubt, "Call Donny, he'll fix it!"
