Doris H. Gregory

l Doris H. (Powers) Gregory died August 29, 2015 of natural causes at her home.
Doris was born Feb 10, 1929 in Pepperell, MA to Henry P. and Delia (Gordon) Powers. She married Howard C Gregory of Harlan, KY in 1958. Mr. Gregory preceded Doris in death.

Doris was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pepperell, In her working years she had been employed several textile mills in Lowell and the former Bemis Bag Company in Pepperell.
Mrs. Gregory was a long active member of the Pepperell Senior Center, where she played the harmonica and guitar and participated in amateur theatrical and musical activities staged by the Center. She was also a great fan of Country Music and was a champion yodeler, she loved the Grand Ole Opry. In her earlier years she entertained the soldiers at the former Fort Devens in Ayer.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Faye Gregory Procell of Colorado Springs, CO and three sisters Anna Dion and Agnes Torrey-both of Pepperrell, MA and Alice Powers of Bradenton, FL. Doris was preceded in death by her brothers Bernard Powers and Henry Powers, and her sisters Mary Patrick and Ruth Boutwell.
