Edward "Ed" Cooke

Edward “Ed” Cooke passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2024 with his parents and little sisters comforting and supporting him as he slipped away.

Ed was born on December 16th, 1990 at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, MA and raised in Ayer, MA.

Ed is survived by his parents Daphne and Ted Cooke of Mason, NH and his sisters Dakota Beattie of Salem, NH and Savannah Cooke of Mason, NH. He also leaves behind his loving Grammie, Ellie Cooke of Mason, NH. Ed leaves behind the Light Of His Life, his little nephew Cole Beattie and Cole’s little sister Anna Beattie of Salem, NH.

Ed attended the Ayer, MA schools and graduated from Fitchburg High School. He attended Universal Technical Institute.

Ed worked as a Certified Chimney Sweep, a Brick Mason and with Atlantic Restoration. He swung from a basket restoring both Graves and Minot Lighthouses. Ed was also proud to be a member of Boston Local 3 BAC Union.

Ed’s love for his family, especially his nephew Cole, on whom he bestowed treasured matchbox cars was endless.


Ed was passionate about Nick’s and Chip’s boots and cars. His detailed knowledge of these knew no bounds.

Ed is deeply loved and missed by many.

The family will be having a private Celebration Of Life.
