Emma Carrie Jefferson

Jefferson of Ayer June 24, 2015 Emma C. (Briggs) Jefferson 92 died at the Nashoba Valley Medical Center. She was born in Ayer July 31, 1922 daughter of the late William W. Briggs Sr. and Helen T. (Kinney) Briggs.

A lifelong resident of Ayer where she was educated and was a graduate of Ayer High School. Retired for many years she had been employed at the former Maxwell Pharmacy and Kleen-It cleaners on Park St.
She is survived by her son Clarence E. Jefferson and his wife Debra of Groton. She was also the sister of the late William W. Briggs Jr., Clarence E. Briggs, Nancy C. Francis and Rita Briggs. Services were private.
