Evelyn F. (Lohan) Fisher

Evelyn F. (Lohan) Fisher of Groton, formerly of County Galway, Ireland, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 96 years. Loving wife of the late James J. Fisher, Jr. and beloved mother of Eileen F. Fisher of Goffstown, NH. She also leaves behind a multitude of loving nieces and nephews. A brave woman who left behind her childhood home in Ireland at age 21 for the new adventure of America. She was a hard-working homemaker and devoted mother with a deep faith in God. Her wake will be held at McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Friday, January 16th from 4-6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17th at 10 am at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshiping at St. Joseph’s Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, 40 Heald St., Pepperell.
