Frank Seymour Archambault, Jr.

On May 22, 2023, Frank S. Archambault, Jr. 78, of Naples, FL, passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Born on February 10, 1945, in Nashua, NH, Frank was one of three children to Frank and Mabel (Cotton) Archambault.

Frank was raised in Pepperell, MA, and graduated from Keith Academy in Lowell, MA, in 1963. He attended St. Mary's University in Halifax, NS, where he earned a degree in economics in 1968. During his time at St. Mary's, Frank also excelled on the football field, becoming the first ever All-Canadian player in offense and defense. In 2003, he was inducted into the St. Mary's Football Hall of Fame, a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication.

Frank’s ability to connect with people, led him to a career in sales. He worked at U.S. Steel, San-Vel Concrete, PJ Keating, and eventually settled at Norlite Corporation, where he served as a Vice President of Sales until his retirement in 2015. Frank's commitment and expertise were recognized and he was well-respected in his industry, earning him numerous accolades throughout his career.  His profound knowledge and reputation made him a sought-after speaker at universities and conventions.

In 1961, Frank met the love of his life, Diana (Shadan), in Lowell, MA. They were married in 1966.  They spent the first 10 years in Pelham and Nashua, NH, before settling with their four children into the home that he built in Pepperell.

Frank and Diana enjoyed many happy years in their homes in Pepperell and Harwichport, MA, before finally making Naples, FL, their residence. Frank was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. When he wasn't coaching, volunteering in Pepperell and at St. Joseph's Church, and supporting his children in their sports endeavors, he enjoyed woodworking and home projects. He was an avid sports and music fan. Frank's unwavering presence and guidance shaped the lives of his children and grandchildren, and they will dearly miss him.

Frank was predeceased by his father, Frank Seymour Archambault Sr., mother Mabel, sister JoAnne Johnson, and sister Mary. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diana (Shadan) Archambault, his four children, Lynne Archambault of Pepperell, Dawn McNabb (husband John Jr.) of Raleigh, NC, Michael Archambault (wife Jenn) of Pepperell, and Robert Archambault (wife Gretchen) of Pepperell, as well as his ten grandchildren, Elizabeth, Robert, Cameron, Sarah, Grace, Neris, Nora, Tighe, Michael, and Emily. He also leaves many close friends and family.

As we bid farewell to Frank, let us carry his memory in our hearts, remembering his dedication, humility, integrity, love for family, and impact on the lives he touched. He will forever be remembered as a remarkable individual who embraced life with passion.

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Monday, June 5th from 4 – 8 p.m. Committal services will be private.
