James Acton

James A. “Jimmy” Acton of Pepperell, MA formerly of Saginaw, Michigan passed peacefully at home with his wife and daughter by his side, after a battle with cancer.

James was a proud Navy Veteran who served bravely during the Vietnam Era.

James married the love of his life, Deborah, in 1996. James gained two daughters with his marriage: Tiffany and Rebecca.

James was preceded in death by his beloved brothers Gerald R. Acton and William R. Acton. James is survived by his wife Deborah Acton, daughter Tiffany and Brian Moniz of Tucson, AZ., daughter Rebecca Baron and Scott Maciel of Pepperell, MA and his pride and joys, Duncan, Amanda, Tanner, and Trevor, his four grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Thursday, August 25th from 5 to 7 p.m. concluding with a funeral service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory may be made to the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV), 17 Court St, Boston, MA 02108 ( https://nechv.org/donations/tribute-giving/ )
