James Alger

Alger of Pepperell, James E. Alger Jr. 64 of Pepperell died Wednesday August 27, 2014 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after a long illness and complications from pancreatitis. He was born in Clinton June 16, 1950 son of the late James E. and Ruth E. (Casson) Alger. He spent his early life in Clinton where he was a graduate of Worcester Boys trade. He later relocated to Pepperell.
James had been employed at General Motors in Framingham for 19 years. He continued with his love of cars as an auto tech until his retirement he enjoyed being with his family working in the yard and tinkering on cars.
He is survived by his wife of 30 yrs. Deborah J. (Hammond) Alger a daughter Sarah E. Alger, of Pepperell 3 sons Timothy E. of Fitchburg, Thomas W. and Daniel R. both of Pepperell 3 grandchildren Grace, Blake and Cora Alger
Visiting Hrs. Wed September 10, 2-4 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 4PM at the Hamilton-McGaffigan FH 37 Main St. (Rte113) Pepperell .
