James Senior

James Senior, also known as Jimmy, of Pepperell, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home on February 7, 2022 following his battle with Dementia/Alzheimer’s. Born on July 26, 1949 in Lowell, MA he was raised by late mother Joan Senior and step-father Frank Merrill.

Jimmy did Upholstery with his good friend for 25 years, along with his Janitorial position at Lowell General Hospital for 15 years, retiring at 62 due to his disease. Jimmy was a hard worker; he would work extra just to take his family out to eat on the weekends.

Jimmy was very much a family man. He enjoyed being outside gardening, cookouts, camping trips, vacations and just taking long rides in the car.

Jimmy survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolores (Roy) Senior; three children, Darlene (Senior) Winsper and husband Scott Winsper, Cindy (Senior) Lossman and husband Eddie Lossman, Danny Senior and fiancée Marsha Nickerson; grandchildren Hailey Winsper, Kaitlyn Winsper, Courtney Lossman, Corey Lossman, EJ Lossman, Nick Lossman, Kelsey (Senior) Enwright; great-grandchildren Landon Odom, Caden Enwright, Blake Enwright, Natalie Lossman, Zachary Bennett; along with his sister Joann (Senior) Hildreth and her husband Philip Hildreth.

Visitation will be held in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Wednesday, February 16th 2022 from 4 – 7 p.m. Donations in Jimmy’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org/
