It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Cormier, at the age of 92. She passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Ayer Valley Rehab and Nursing, in Ayer.

Born in St. Antoine, NB, Canada on October 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Lucianne Robichaud.

Loving wife of the late Gerard Cormier. Cherished mother of Ernest. Dear sister of Ronald (late Beatrice), Gerard (Carmella), Nora (late Ronald Cormier) (deceased), Marie (deceased) and Real (deceased).

Treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loved by many relatives and friends.

Jeanne worked as a teacher in NB for a few years. After she married and moved to the United States, she stayed home to take care of her family. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a kind and caring woman, known for her great mind, her remarquable memory and her beautiful sense of style. She had a gift for music and enjoyed playing the piano. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at the Ayer Valley Rehab and Nursing, as they provided excellent and compassionate care to Jeanne over the past year.

Jeanne's funeral will be held on Friday, July 24th, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Grace worshiping at St. Joseph Church, 28 Tarbell Street, Pepperell. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 7 Jersey Street, Pepperell.
