Jon Roy Starr

Jon Starr, 62 of Mason, NH passed away Tuesday October 25th of complications after surgery. He was born December 20, 1953 and raised in West Groton, MA. Son of the late Milton and Mary (Perham) Starr. He owned and operated Starr & Sons construction. He was a devoted family man. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. His passion was riding and restoring Harleys. He loved New England sports teams, gardening,  camping , and hiking. He was always there to help others when they were in need, with his knowledge, wisdom, and experience. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Robin (Richards) of Mason; three sons Brian, 37 of Lehigh Acres, FL; Jason, 36 of Jaffrey; Benjamin, 29 of New Ipswich; One daughter Holly, 28 of Brewster, MA; Stepson Adam Richards, 27 of Tombull, TX; Two grandsons Liam Jon, and Cole; Five grand daughters Hunter, Isabella, Kiana, Raelyn, and Sage; Six brothers Milton, Arthur, Howard, Daniel, Bruce Mauro, and David Mauro; and Five sisters Lois, Christy, Ann Carr, Joyce Dumas, and Judy Starr-Martel. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd from 5 - 8 p.m. at McGaffigan Funeral Home in Pepperell, MA.
