Joseph P. Riopelle

Joseph P. Riopelle, 92, of Summerfield, FL formerly of Dunstable, MA passed away on August 11th, 2022. He has now reunited with his beloved wife Ruth (Howarth) Riopelle, who passed away January 5th, 2017.

Joseph lived in Dunstable most of his life before retiring to Summerfield, FL. During his time in Dunstable he held many jobs such as Owner/Operator of the Mobile Gas Station on Rt. 113, School Bus Driver for Dunstable and Operator of the Dunstable Highway Department for many years.

You could find Joseph and Ruth traveling through all states visiting friends and family during their retirement accompanied by their grandchildren. They looked forward to spending time with their great-grandchildren while they visited them in Florida.

Joseph was a great father, a wonderful father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. His infectious humor will be missed by all.

Joseph is survived by his two sons, Robert E. Riopelle and wife Cheryl Riopelle of Dunstable, and Joseph Riopelle and wife Dorothy Riopelle of Summerfield, FL. He leaves behind 6 grandsons and one favorite granddaughter, Robert E. Riopelle and Ashley Riopelle of Dunstable, MA, Joseph Riopelle and wife Christie Riopelle of Copper Cove, TX, Matthew Riopelle and wife Ally Riopelle of Fargo, North Dakota, Peter Riopelle and wife Sanne Riopelle of Payton, Colorado, and Steven Riopelle of Madison, Wisconsin. Followed by seven great-grandchildren Allyra, Sirin, Odin, Gabrielle, Logan, Oliver and Lily.
