June Marilyn (Davis) Leary, lovingly known as June, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. She was born on June 27, 1948, in Nashua, New Hampshire, where she spent her early years before settling in Pepperell, Massachusetts. June lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
June dedicated much of her life to helping others. She worked as a nurse, caring for those in need with compassion and steady hands. She also spent time working in local factories, where her hard work and determination shone through. Her strong work ethic was matched by her deep love for her family and the people around her.
She shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with her husband, John Leary, who was the love of her life. Together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and devotion. June was the proud mother of her son, Joe, and an adoring grandmother to her two grandsons, Zack and Shaun, whom she loved dearly. Family meant everything to her, and her warmth will continue to live on in their hearts.
June will be remembered for her loving yet stubborn spirit, her caring nature, and her gentle sense of humor. She had a special place in her heart for animals and found joy in sewing during her quiet moments. Those who knew her best will remember her strength, kindness, and the small moments that made her so special.
One cherished memory that will live on is the joy of being given a ride in her wheelchair through the town of Pepperell — a simple, happy time that perfectly reflected June’s ability to make even the smallest moments feel special. Her love and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Grace worshiping at St. Joseph's Church, 28 Tarbell St., Pepperell, MA on Wednesday, November 12th at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pepperell.
