Lee Anne Seeger

Lee Anne (McManus) Seeger, of Dunstable, formerly of Pepperell, entered eternity on December 4, 2023, at her home.

Lee was born on March 19, 1957, daughter of the late James and Ruth (Carlson) McManus. She grew up in Dunstable but later moved to Pepperell, where she resided for over 48 years. Lee loved to help others and spent a number of years working as an EMT. She later went on to work at Nashoba Medical Center for over 35 years, where she made many lifelong friends.

Lee had a great love for animals and was known to stop to help strays or any injured animal she would pass on the road. She was devoted to her family and loved family Christmases at her parent’s home, a role that she took over upon the passing of her parents. She loved gardening, being creative, art, and decorating. She was a loving sister, daughter, aunt and friend.

Lee is survived by her brother, Wayne McManus of Dunstable, MA, and her sister, Leslie (Thomas) Worthy of Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved very much. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Ruth McManus, and a sister, Michele Keyser.

The family would like to thank her very special friend Steve, for being by Lee’s side and the friendship he showed towards her; her friend Julie who kept her company and gave her a bright light every day; and the staff at UMASS Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center, (especially Val and Karen) for all the love and support they gave to her during a very difficult time. The family would also like to thank VNA Care for the exceptional hospice care they gave to Lee, especially Michelle and Ashley.

A graveside service will be held at Central Cemetery, Westford Street, Dunstable, MA on Friday, December 8th at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lee’s memory may be made to VNA Care (www.vnacare.org)
