LeeAnn Hillman, 67, of Pepperell, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2026, in Hubbardston, MA. Born on December 31, 1958, in Lowell, MA, LeeAnn was the cherished youngest natural child of Anthony Kenneth Welcome and Margaret Steele (Kane) Welcome. She grew up in Pepperell, graduating from North Middlesex Regional High School before going on to earn certifications in both cosmetology and as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
LeeAnn spent her life in service to others, dedicating over thirty remarkable years to the healthcare industry as a CNA, where she brought comfort and care to residents across numerous nursing homes. Her talents extended far beyond her professional life; she was always the first person family and friends would call for a beautifully tailored dress or a fresh haircut. Known for her boundless kindness, approachable nature, and infectious laughter, LeeAnn was truly the rock of her family—the steady anchor and the glue that held everyone together.
A deeply creative soul, she found immense joy in jewelry making, beadwork, sewing, and stenciling. Above all, her heart belonged to her family, and she fiercely embraced her most treasured role as a grandmother and parent.
LeeAnn's legacy of love lives on through her three children: Jeremiah Arsenault and his wife Amy Kirlin; Shannon Arsenault and her fiancé Joseph Shuttle; and Peter Arsenault and his wife Kaitlynn Robinson. She is also survived by her three beloved grandchildren, Alexander and Joshua Shuttle, and Glorianna Arsenault. She was preceded in death by her parents; Anthony K. Welcome and his wife Margaret S. Welcome, and her brother Anthony (Tony) K. Welcome Jr.
A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Jersey Street, Pepperell, on Monday, November 16th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any local animal shelter or equivalent organization. LeeAnn was not keen on big-name charities, and always took care of animals both inside and outside the places she worked.
