Lori Ann (Hickey) Bancroft

Lori Ann (Hickey) Bancroft, 63, of Pepperell, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, surrounded by family.

She was born September 10, 1962, in Cambridge, MA, daughter of the late Elaine C. Hickey and her surviving father, John “Jack” Hickey.

Lori cherished family deeply and adored sharing stories of her children and grandchildren with those around her. She had a great joy for preserving and sharing family traditions, from holiday celebrations at her parents’ home in Westford to vacations in the mountains of New Hampshire.

She is remembered for her mischievous sense of humor, and for being sure to never miss a birthday or holiday wish. In the days since her passing, the memories shared by loved ones have overwhelmingly reflected her playful silliness and the care she showed to those she loved.

She is survived by her husband and partner of nearly 40 years, Ronald Bancroft; three children, Christi, Jamison, and Andrew; six grandchildren, Marq, Liam, Katrina, Aria, Evie, Thalia; three siblings, Lisa, Leslie, John; and her father, Jack. Lori also had a profound love for her nine nieces and nephews and their children.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund (https://curealz.org/), in support of a cause deeply meaningful to her and her loved ones.
