Lorraine Denise (Chenette) Anderson

AYER - Lorraine D. (Chenette) Anderson passed away in her Ayer home on April 29, 2021 at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 6, 1932 in Worcester and was the daughter of Albert and Bernadette Chenette. She was a member of the Seeds of Faith Community Church in Harvard where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved gardening and volunteering at Apple Valley Nursing Home.

She was predeceased by her husband, Russell H. Anderson, her son David, brothers Real and Raymond Chenette and sister Pauline O’Brien. She is survived by her sister Alice Hauce from CA; sons Mark & wife Terry, Glen & wife Nelle, Russell & wife Charlotte, all from Ayer; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and longtime close friends.

The family would like to thank the Nashoba Nursing Service and Pearl Baidoo for making this transition very peaceful for both Lorraine and her family, showing outstanding care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Monday, May 3rd from 5 – 8 PM. A brief prayer service will begin at 4:30 with visitation to follow. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery will be private.
