Louis A. Shattuck

Louis D. Shattuck died February 28, 2018, at the Curahealth Hospital in Stoughton after a long illness. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on May 20, 1930, son of the late Chester and Carrie (Stone) Shattuck. Louis was a lifelong resident of Pepperell and a graduate of Pepperell High School.

Louis was an electrician by trade, for many years. He had been employed by Hollingsworth and Vose in West Groton, Bemis Bag in Pepperell, Jerry’s T.V. in Nashua, NH and Tully Farm in Dunstable. He served as the Electrical Inspector in Pepperell, Groton, and Ayer for many years. He also served as the Water Commissioner for the town of Pepperell.  In addition, he also worked as a real estate agent in Pepperell.

Louis was an avid golfer. He enjoyed eating and spending time in Coco Beach, FL. He was an active member of the Beacon Lodge # 175 Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Pepperell.

Louis is survived by his wife Rose (Lavoie) Shattuck, son Donald Shattuck, daughter Linda Zeogas, daughter Bonnie Shattuck, and son Todd Shattuck, all of Pepperell. Louis is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his seven siblings.
