Maria Patricia Antosh, 56 years old, from Pepperell Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 11th, 2022.

She was born on June 27th 1966, in Dorchester Massachusetts, to her mother Maria Skolis and her father John Sullivan. She was the first and only daughter, and oldest out of her three brothers. Maria graduated high school at Lexington High School in 1984.

Maria began studying at Paulette’s Ballet Studio when she was 5 years old. Maria loved dancing and she continued this passion until she was 17 years old. She even received an offer to move to New York and dance professionally. In her early life Maria lived in Needham, and she took swimming lessons at Rosemary’s Pool. There she trained to become a Red Cross certified Lifeguard. She spent summers in Scituate, where she worked as an ocean lifeguard. During high school, Maria also took up cheerleading.

She was a board member for the North Middlesex Pop Warner team, and a volunteer coordinator for many years. She also volunteered at Max Cohen Memorial Grove at Lake Potanipo in Brookline New Hampshire for their Red Cross Certified swimming program. She additionally worked at the local Donelan’s supermarket in Pepperell. Now aptly renamed Pepperell Family Quality Market, at this job she ran the salad bar, made sandwiches, and worked in the deli.

Maria enjoyed a plethora of activities in her free time including dancing, swimming and singing. She was in love with design and fashion and always had new outfits and ideas for interior design around the house She loved to hang out with family and friends and have a good time, but she was also very caring and attentive. She enjoyed her job at the supermarket in town Donelan’s, as she was a very talented cook and loved her friends and co-workers dearly. She loved to be outside and go to the beach and during the summer you could always find her outside tanning and listening to music. Maria had many other talents and she always loved home design and wanted to be a home designer.

Maria is survived by her mother and step-father Maria and Earl Geary, and is additionally survived by her husband, Peter; her children, Thomas Schools and Joshua Antosh. She is also survived by her three brothers, John Skolis, and Jimmy Sullivan, and her step-brother Earl Joseph Geary.

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 - 11 a.m. with a service immediately following.
