Matthew Kubinciak Jr.

Matthew Kubinciak Jr, age 65, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on January 11th, 2018. Matt is a graduate of Massapequa High School in Long Island, NY, and also attended Concord High School and Nassau Community College. He was a skilled carpenter, who established Cutting Edge Construction, Inc., and built many unique homes including his beautiful family homes. At an early age he loved baseball and football, becoming a pitcher in high school like his Father. Even though he came from New York, he was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed fishing the Nashua River, Carolina Outer Banks, and was an avid pool player and WWII buff.

Matt will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father with an easy going manner, quick wit and good humored jokes. He was a “grill master” for frequent gatherings of family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Feitsma Kubinciak and daughters Leah Johanna H. Kubinciak Palmacci and her husband Nickolas Palmacci of Nashua, NH., Rachael Eleanor C. Kubinciak of Pepperell, MA., Jessica Weinbrenner Teixeira of Oceanside, CA., and grandson Anthony S. Palmacci, his siblings Caryl A. Sickul and husband Douglas Sickul of  S. Dartmouth, MA., Ellie Weaver Kubinciak and her husband Steve Weaver of Boxborough, MA., sister-in-law Trudi Feitsma Mehrhof and husband Austin Mehrhof of Richmond, Va., nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends. He joins in spirit his loving parents Matthew and Helen Chwat Kubinciak and mother-in-law Johanna Feitsma Zomerdijk.

His family truly appreciates and would like to thank all those who helped and supported them over the years.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A celebration of his life will be held in the near future.
