Noel Ruth (Blood) Delarme

Noel Ruth (Blood) Delarme, a longtime Pepperell resident, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, at Ayer Valley Rehab & Nursing following a years-long battle with dementia. She was 75.

Noel was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1950, in Ayer, MA, daughter of the late Donald and Aldie (Elliott) Blood. Noel was the mother of the late Laurie Blood. She was predeceased by her siblings, Donald Blood, Jr., Priscilla Carson, and Sylvia Shakley. She leaves behind her brother-in-law, Lewis Shakley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Noel grew up in Pepperell graduating from North Middlesex Regional High School in 1968. She worked as an x-ray and ultrasound technologist before earning her LPN and RN licenses from Mt. Wachusett Community College. She was employed at Lowell Radiology, Nashoba Hospital and the former Montrath/Seven Hills Pediatric Center.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 29th at 10 am at Woodlawn Cemetery, 40 Heald St., Pepperell, MA.
