Norma N. (Noyes) Wilton, age 89, of Pepperell, passed away on May 16, 2014, following a brief illness. She is survived by her children Wendy A. Wilton, of Pepperell, Terry J. Wilton, of Pepperell, and Charles H. Wilton, IV, and his wife Wendy Lee Wilton, of Rutland, Vermont, and two grandchildren, Charles H. Wilton, V, of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Georgianne L. Wilton, of Rutland, Vermont. Norma was born on June 29, 1924, in Melrose, MA. She graduated from Melrose High School and attended art school in Boston. In 1950 she married Charles H. Wilton, III (deceased), and in her later years she was the longtime companion of James L. Lilly (deceased). She was a talented artist who for many years worked as the Art Director at the Nimrod Press, a commercial printing company in Boston. Norma loved her family and her large circle of very dear friends, as well as her lovely home in the country, her sporty cars, and dachshunds. She was an accomplished knitter, and she loved baking and was well known for her Swedish coffee breads. She was loved by so many and will be missed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
