In Loving Memory of Patricia Gail (Bradley) Dugas

Patricia Gail “Pat” (Bradley) Dugas, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born on November 20, 1953, Pat grew up in Bedford, MA, and graduated from Bedford High School with the Class of 1971. She and her husband Jim Dugas later made their home in Pepperell, MA, where she lived for more than 40 years.

Pat dedicated more than 33 years to MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a Business Financial Administrator. She began in the Security Department, later moved to the Library Department, and finally joined the IT Department, where she managed budgets until she retired. During her time at “the lab,” she built many close friendships and stayed connected with colleagues long after retiring in 2019.

Pat loved exploring fairs, antique shops, restaurants, and off the beaten path destinations with Jim, her husband of nearly 40 years. A bit of a foodie, she was always ready with a fair and honest review of local eateries. She had a lifelong love of horses and cats and took great joy in decorating for every holiday. Her home was a neighborhood favorite on Halloween. Pat also cherished time with family and friends and was especially known for her famous potato salad at gatherings.

She was predeceased by her son, James Dugas; her mother, Frances (Hamilton) Mead; her stepfather, Donald Mead; her father, John Bradley; her mother-in-law, Loreen “Reenie” Dugas; her father-in-law, Robert Dugas; and her brothers, John and Michael Bradley.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Jim; her sister Donna Dickerson and husband Steve Dickerson of Pepperell; her brothers David Mead of Pepperell and Donald Mead of Andover; her brother and sister-in-law, Steve Dugas and Donna Dugas, of Westford; her brother and sister-in-law, Ron Blaney and Karen Blaney, of Lynn; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

An open house reception will be held at McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main Street, (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA  on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, between the hours of 10 am and 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Pat’s memory to New England Equine Rescue (NEER) and/or The Jimmy Fund.
