Paul J. Daley

Paul J. Daley died Tuesday August 4,2015 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer. He was born in West Groton April 19, 1930 son of the late Hugh J. and Ethel (Floyd) Daley. He attended the Groton Schools and was a graduate of Groton High School class of 1948. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving as a Corporal during the Korean War.
After his enlistment in the Marine Corps he was employed as a wrapper and shipper at Hollingsworth and Vose of West Groton for 45 years. A dedicated and loving father to his 2 girls, he also enjoyed old cars and tinkering. In his later years he enjoyed traveling with his wife 60 years Joanne on River Boat Cruises.
He is survived by his wife Joanne (Hallisey) Daley of West Groton, 2 daughters Lelia Lou Koltzau of St. James Long Island ,New York and Tammie Jean Krimmel of Tallasse, Alabama his 6 grandsons Christopher Jeremy, James, Daniel ,Travis and Nicholas as well as several nieces and nephews he was also predeceased by brothers Hugh, Martin, Robert, Howard Daley and sister Vera Daley Pratt.
