Peter Arthur Katsines Jr. of Pepperell, Massachusetts passed away peacefully sleeping on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in Nashua, NH at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
Peter was the hardest working man you could know, and operated 2 consecutive automotive repair and fueling stations from his early adult life through his mid 50’s. He was a trusted and well-liked mechanic in the towns where his establishments were located, and had a loyal following of customers turned friends who appreciated his commitment to providing the highest quality, most reliable, and honest service possible, whilst never taking advantage of anyone. Most recently he was a commercial tractor trailer driver, where he greatly enjoyed being out on the road seeing all of New England.
Hockey was by far his favorite sport, and being a Boston Bruins season ticket holder allowed his family to share in his passion, rooting for his favorite team by his side. More than anything, seeing his sons grow up out on the ice, competing in his beloved pastime that he taught them everything about, filled him with tremendous pride and joy. He and his beautiful wife Joan, also skied with their sons every chance they got. Vacations to Park City, Utah are and will forever be the some of the fondest memories the 4 had and the 2 surviving sons will continue to cherish always.
He is awaited in paradise by his wife Joan Mary, daughter Kimberly Joan, sister Karen Connolly, parents Peter Arthur Sr and Dorothy Condos, his “γιαγιά” Lillian Kindos, and nephew Craig McCullough. He is survived by his 2 beloved sons Peter Joesph and Brian Scott, siblings through marriage Arthur Connolly, James and Anne McCullough, Steven and Faye McCullough, Kathleen and David Gill, Anne Watson, and Paul and Charleen McCullough, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; Many of whom have found wonderful life partners and have children of their own
Peter and Brian would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for their compassionate care of their father through his final days.
