Ralph J. Hulslander III, 76, of Pepperell, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in the comfort of his home and in the care of his loving family. A member of the Chelmsford High School Class of 1967, Ralph entered the US Navy after graduation. Following discharge from the Navy, Ralph worked to earn his Journeyman and Master electrician licenses, establishing his own business, RJH Electric.

Ralph picked up a vast array of building skills as he worked as an electrician, and in the 1980’s he put those skills to work building a vacation home at Squam Lake in Holderness, NH. “The Lakehouse” would become the annual gathering spot for the entire family, where cousins would form lasting bonds and cherished memories. He particularly loved boating and just enjoying the beauty of the lakes and mountains. The waters of Squam Lake ran though his veins.

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Ralph is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marilyn (Fetzer), his children Dawn Higgins (Matt) of Winterville, NC; Jeff Hulslander (Abra) of Groton, and Katie Osterberg (Paul) of West Boylston, and seven “super fantastic” grandchildren: Katelyn, Cole and Chloe Higgins, Jack and Emma Hulslander, and Alex and Everett Osterberg. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, George Fetzer (Xenia) of Naples, Fl. In addition, he leaves a special aunt, Irene Hurst of Florida, and many cousins. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Ralph J. Hulslander Jr. and G. Irene Hulslander of Chelmsford.

A time of visitation will be held at the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Saturday, March 14th, beginning at 1 pm. Ralph’s Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm.
