Richard T. Barry, a resident of Mason, NH, died January 26th, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

The son of the late Joseph Barry and Gertrude (Savoy) Barry, he was born on April 16, 1942, and raised in Woburn, MA.

Dick graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in electrical engineering. He retired as a computer hardware engineer. One of his first projects was contributing to the electronics on the Apollo II weather satellite which is still active in space today. His last project was his contribution to an air quality sensor currently onboard the International Space Station.

His passion for nature and the outdoors included camping, boating, fishing, hiking and photography. His photography skills provided a great deal of enjoyment to his friends and family. He was a skilled carpenter and was always helping friends and family with a project. He had a special love for the American Southwest which was his favorite place to vacation. Dick had a full and wonderful life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Kendall, two daughters, Michelle Abbott of Plymouth, MA, and Heather Barry of Pepperell, MA, two sons, Russell Kendall of Hollis, NH, and Douglas Kendall of Manchester, NH, and four grandchildren, Garrett, Zachery, Shane and Cassie. He is also survived by a sister, Joan Henchey North Chelmsford, MA, and two brothers, Joe Barry, Jr. of Pine Bluffs, NC, and Thomas Barry of Hamilton Square, NJ, and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
