Richard Varnum Flagg, 80, of Littleton, MA passed away at home on January 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Richard (Dick) was born on May 26, 1945, in Concord, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Francis Warren and Dorothy (Knott) Flagg. Dick attended Fenn School and graduated from Littleton High School.
He grew up working on the family farm in Littleton. He also worked for Superior Welding in Ayer and various farms in Littleton.
Dick thoroughly enjoyed his family – particularly his granddaughters. He made it a point to attend dance recitals, various sports games, and their high school and college graduations.
Dick is survived by his wife Carol of 33 years, a step-daughter Kathleen and her husband Keith, step-son Eddie, granddaughter Kaitlin and her husband Carl, granddaughter Kimberly, and great-grandchildren Charlotte and Luke. Dick is also survived by his brother David Flagg of Syracuse, New York.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
Arrangements are entrusted to the McGaffigan Family.
