Robert A. Lindstrom of Pepperell formerly of Cambridge August 10, 2016 died at the Nashoba Community Hospital in Ayer. He was born in Cambridge June 15, 1961 son of Barbara (Hayner) Lindstrom of Medford and the late Frederick Lindstrom. He spent his early life in Cambridge where he attended the schools and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School Class of 1979, and was a graduate of the Peterson School majoring in plumbing and heating. .  He was a man’s man with a generous heart and impeccable character.  Bob worked as a master plumber and handyman and ran his own business, R.A. Lindstrom Plumbing and Heating. He was known to volunteer his services for those in need.  Before starting his own business he worked as a property manager at Harvard University Planning and Real Estate.  He was often seen driving around town with his companion, his dog Allie.  Bob was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, uncle, and friend. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf in his golf league at Overlook Golf Club in Hollis, NH.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Carolyn A. (Clancey) a son Robert J. Lindstrom and daughter Erica K. Lindstrom all of  Pepperell his mother Barbara (Hayner) Lindstrom of Medford, sister Caroline (Lindstrom) Ruscak of Burlington nieces and nephews Kristin (Lindstrom) DuBord,  Brittany Gladstone, Brandon Gladstone, Justine Clancey,  Corynn  Clancey, Claudia Ruscak, Carissa Ruscak, and Casen DuBord also brother of the late Frederick H. Lindstrom Jr.  Services Wednesday August 17, 10 AM at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. Joseph’s Church 28 Tarbell St. Pepperell.  In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Homes for our Troops www.hfotusa.org please see www.mcgaffiganfuneral.com
