Ronald Russell Jones

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ronald R. Jones. Born October 9, 1940 in Groton, Massachusetts to the late Harold and Dolly (Stearns) Jones.   Ron passed on February 2, 2017 with his wife of 55 years Mary P. (Alibrandi) Jones at his side after a hard fought battle with cancer.  Ron leaves behind his wife Mary P. Jones, Children Maryellen Bozza and Dave who he always considered his son of Ashby, Eric Jones and wife Sherry of Webster, MA, Keith Jones and wife Kelly of Milford, NH  he was also  predeceased by his oldest son Ronald. He also leaves behind many grandchildren: Adam Bozza and Leah, Kimberly Bozza and Shaun, Jillian Kelly and Adam, Jenna Bozza, Riley Jones, Chase Jones, Harris Jones, Jamieson Jones, Joe Ruth and Danielle, Ashley Jokinen and Josh, Amber Jokinen and Chris. His great grandchildren Sky, Kyle, Cassie, Cam, Hailey, Abigail, Cali, Christopher, Dominic, Jackson and Maxwell, his brother David Jones and wife Heidi of Crawford FL. Sister Martha Jones of Clinton, MA and many nieces and nephews.   Ron was an avid fisherman, golfer, hunter and loved good food.  Ron spent the majority of his life giving to others through Wheels Of Happiness and was the best husband, father, grandfather, son, sibling and friend anyone could ever ask for.  He spent his life working in the transportation industry but spent his best years as the assistant manager and heart and soul of Little Ossipee Lake Campground.  He will be truly missed.  God bless his soul.  Visiting Hrs. Wed 4-7 PM at the McGaffigan Funeral Home .  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday February 11,  9 AM at Our Lady of Grace Parish worshipping at St. Joseph's Church 28 Tarbell St. Pepperell. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Everett, MA.     In lieu of flowers please make donations to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
