Rosaire (Ross) E. Morin, 76, a resident of Townsend, MA, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Westford House following a long illness. He was born in Barnston, Quebec on November 18, 1939, the son of Ernest P. and Alice D. (Beaudin) Morin. Ross moved to Lewiston, ME in 1952 with his family. He was a graduate of St. Dominic High School Class of 1960 and after working several years, enrolled in Bentley University, graduating with a degree in accounting in 1968. He had a long career as a corporate comptroller for various companies, retiring from Chalet Suisse International in 2000. For many years, he also worked as a tax preparer in the southern NH / northern MA area. After retirement, he and his wife Priscilla relocated to Lewiston, ME to care for his mother. In recent years, he moved to the Middlesex area of MA to be closer to family.
He enjoyed camping trips with his family, tending to an ever-growing garden, and traveling with friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Priscilla (Blood) of Townsend, four daughters Lisa Morin and her husband Todd Allen of Lee, NH; Susanne Morin of Kennebunk, ME; Celeste Misodoulakis and her husband Greg of Lakeville, MA; Janice Baker and her husband Tom of Auburn, NH; three stepchildren Robin Benjamin and her husband Bob of Milford, NH; Sharon Hackler and her husband Will of Townsend, MA; and Scott Stewart and his wife Brenda of Fitchburg, MA. He is also survived by his sisters Louise Letourneau and husband Emery of Nampa, ID; Denise Flonc of Monroe, CT; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson Gregory G. Misodoulakis. The family would like to thank Ross’s caregivers at Westford House for their compassionate care and support.
