Post of Pepperell July 24, 2015 Sachiko Post died Friday at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer. She was born in Yokohama, Japan March 4, 1931. Mrs. Post came to the United States in 1952 after meeting her husband the late William P. Post is in Japan who was serving in the U.S. Army.
A longtime resident of Pepperell she had been employed at the former Bemis Bag Company. After her employment at Bemis she worked in local Beauty Shops in the area and became a very accomplished stylist and cosmetologist. Sachiko travelled to New York and actually was involved in many shows in Madison Square Garden where she demonstrated different techniques in Hair styling and Cosmetology.
After her late husband was involved in automobile accident leaving him severely injured , Sachiko continued to work in several beauty shops in the area, while continuing to raise her two sons as well as caring for her husband. In her earlier years she was an accomplished bowler traveling nation wide with an affiliation with the WBA (Woman's Bowling Association) and was a former liaison with the W.I.B.C (Woman's International Bowling Congress). She was also 50 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Pepperell VFW # 3291.

She is survived by her 2 sons Michael Post of New Hampshire, and John Post of Gardner, 3 grandchildren Kimberly, Heather and Connor Post as well as many nieces and nephews in Yokahama, Japan.
