Sandra A. Locapo

Sandra A. Locapo died peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Brigham and Womens Hospital surrounded by her family and many close friends. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Locapo.

Born on April 11, 1958, in Groton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Priscilla Stevens and Ken Scheibel. She spent her childhood attending local area schools and spending summers in the Berkshires with "PJ". After getting married and becoming a mom to "Nick and Mike", she became a business owner, and fixture in the local community.

Throughout her life, Sandra was, above all else, a mom. Not just to her two sons, but also to the hundreds of kids who would hang out at the "Locapo house". She was humble, generous, compassionate, hard working, and an inspiration to so many people.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Daniel Locapo; her children, whom she was so proud of, Nick and Mike Locapo; daughter-in-law, Meghan Locapo; sisters, Martha Murphy and Stacy Scheibel; brother, Grant Scheibel; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Sandra was the warmest, most loving person you could ever meet. She will be greatly missed.
