Scott David Wilcox

On Friday, May 6, 2022, Scott David Wilcox died unexpectedly at the age of 52.  Scott was born February 20, 1970 in Concord, MA.  He spent his childhood years in the town of Harvard, MA. Always the Free Spirit, Scott traveled the U.S. for a short period of time before returning to the Leominster, MA area.

He was happiest being self-employed using his creative ability with carpentry along with his masonry talents. His craftsmanship lives on in surrounding towns as well as New Hampshire.

Scott appreciated and enjoyed being outdoors walking in the woods or strolling along the beach. He especially liked and frequently visited the Living Stone Foundation in Leominster walking about the granite sculptures. He always wanted more time to be able to go fishing.  One of his fondest memories as a young boy was fishing in Florida with his grandfather and keeping  a photo of his first big catch. Scott started as a young child with a sketchbook readily available. He continued with his passion and artistic ability throughout his life. He had a great sense of humor and was always ready to help a friend out.  He was a kind and good man.

He is survived by his mother Nancy Deobil (Wilcox) and her partner Ruth Zemetres of Maine. He was predeceased by his father, Stanley Wilcox, of Sebastian, Florida. He also leaves his brother Jason Wilcox, his wife Erica Swain and niece Janessa Wilcox of Nashua, New Hampshire. His uncle Robert Deobil and his wife Susan of Belleville, PA. He was predeceased by grandparents Connie and Nester Deobil, and Mildred and Harold Wilcox.

Service will be private at a later date.

Contributions to his memory may be made to your local animal shelter or charity of your choice.
