Shawn Trevor Powell Sr.

Shawn Trevor Powell Sr. (62), passed away unexpectedly, peacefully in his sleep, on July 12th, 2026. He was born on February 12, 1964. He grew up in West Groton, Massachusetts, and lived in Leominster for many years before recently moving to Westminster, MA. He worked for nearly 40 years as a master mechanic of the manufacturing facility in Littleton, MA for the Rowse Family/Veryfine, Kraft, Sunny Delight, and Patriot/CPF.

Shawn is survived by his loving wife Carmen, his mother Judith Gould, his siblings and their spouses; Todd and Lori, Jennifer (Powell-Gray) and John, and Amber (Powell-VanNostrand), his children and their spouses/partners: Trevor and Tricia, Heidi and Josh, Tyler and Amy, Frenchi, and Justin, and his five grandchildren: Julia, Brianna, Madison, Aleia, and Aviva, and many close family friends including Cathy and Jim Miller, Mike (Bob) West and Patti LeBlanc, and many more beyond counting. 

Those who were fortunate to have been a part of his life at home, work, and in the community know he was a joyful man, striving to give all more than he himself received. He will be remembered as a wonderful host, relentless employee, and loyal friend.

He was a loving husband, son, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fitness, fishing, gardening, and riding his Harley Davidson.

Calling Hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA from 5pm-8pm on Friday, July 17th, 2026. Casual Dress/Come as you are.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Leominster Eagles #477, 456 Litchfield Street, Leominster, MA on Sunday, August 16th from 11 am - 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Boston Children's Hospital Cancer Research.
