Cameron M. Ojala, 31, of Pepperell, Massachusetts died tragically in Lowell, Massachusetts on February 28, 2022. Cameron was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on August 19, 1990 to Douglas Ojala and Valerie (Sherwood) Ojala.

Cameron was a beloved son, father, brother, friend and uncle. He also had a passion for hockey which he shared with his father, niece Jaelee and nephew Niklaus. If Cameron wasn’t playing hockey or with his children, you could find him dancing around the kitchen singing.

Cameron met his fiancée Natalie Gagne in 2014 and together they shared 4 children. Aside from Natalie, Cameron is survived by his children, Hailey, Douglas, Cade, Maverick and baby Ojala #5 of Fitchburg, MA; his mother Valerie Ojala-Toomey and her husband Thomas Toomey of Pepperell; his sisters, Tara Ceike of Ashby, MA, Lindsey Dapcic and her husband Mathew of Pepperell, MA., Stephanie Toomey-Johnson and her husband Nick of Alaska and his brother’s Garret Ojala of Athol, MA and Thomas Toomey lll of Hopkington, MA; nieces, Alliza, Kestin, Jaelee and Leah; two nephews Niklaus and Jordan; one great-niece Adrianna; his future Mother-in-law Rena Gagne and many aunt’s, uncles, and cousins. Cameron also leaves behind his closest friends Jason McCarter, Kyle Falter and Jeremy Stafford.

Cameron is predeceased by his father Douglas and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family invites friends and family to a Celebration of Life at the Pepperell VFW Post 3291, 55 Leighton Street, Pepperell, MA from 1-6pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022. The family will hold a graveside ceremony at a later date and time for immediate family.
