Donna L. Gillogly

Donna L. Gillogly, of Holden, formerly of Pepperell, passed away on March 29, 2023. She was born in Nashua, NH on September 29, 1968. She is the daughter of Judith Gillogly. She leaves her daughter Mya Mosley, son Marcus Mosley, sister Sharon Gillogly and nephew Ryan Gillogly. She is predeceased by her father Edward T. Gillogly, Sr. and brother Edward T. Gillogly, Jr.

She leaves behind her Aunt Wanda Makela and many loving cousins and friends.

Donna graduated from North Middlesex Regional High School with the Class of 1984 where she was an exceptional athlete. Donna played basketball, tennis and field hockey.  She attended Becker Junior College where she later became the coach of the girl’s basketball team, graduated from Worcester State University and received her Master’s Degree from Lesley University.

In 1994, Donna started her career with the Worcester Public Schools as a Physical Education teacher.

If you met Donna, you were her friend. She was a fun loving person who loved her vacations at Martha’s Vineyard.

Donna has many deeply loved cousins and friends but the most important two people in her life were her children, Mya and Marcus. Her smile will be missed by many!

Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Family Funeral Home, 37 Main St., (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Tuesday, April 4th from 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to Special Olympics of Massachusetts, 512 Forest St., Marlborough, MA 01752 in memory of Donna L. Gillogly.
