Elizabeth “Betty” Edyth (White) Plet, of Pepperell, passed away on Monday, October 26th, 2020, after a brief illness. She was born on October 3, 1946 to the late Esther and Nye White.
A geriatric nurse for over 40 years in the Nashoba Valley, she was a committed caregiver who loved her work.
She leaves her cat, Missy, her son, Jon Plet and wife Melissa Anderson, daughter Maggie Nickerson and partner Mat Precourt, sister Judy Clark and husband Paul Clark, brother Bobby White and wife Pat White, and cousin Arthur Gluck, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by her husband of over 40 years, Robert Stephen Plet, in October 2009. Their dedication to each other was always evident, their love immediate and steadfast.
Always up for discussing film, crochet, or a great novel, Betty touched the lives of many people with her smile and kind heartedness.
